We are keen to ensure that the design of the structure is fully compatible with the architectural requirements and we will also work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to produce the most economic design. All buildings of 5 storeys or more are required to be designed to withstand progressive collapse from explosion loadings, and this is incorporated into the design of the structure. We are also fully conversant with the requirement of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and will provide the Planning Supervisor with all the necessary structural design risk assessments.
